3N Health Support Units (HSU) are designed to promote primary health care and coexistence by attaching affordable health infrastructure to public spaces. In the wake of the
COVID-19 pandemic, 3N's primary goal is to promote health and well-being. AEDI developed the HSU model to create a more sustainable
approach to healthcare that would provide basic medical assistance to
communities while also increasing awareness of preventative hygiene practices.

HSU are the first step in creating a symbiotic relationship between community health and formal healthcare services. The HSU model is based on the 3N model, which looks at food and nutrition security, public health outreach, gender sensitisation, education and environmental health objectives to strengthen the linkages between informal and formal health services by spatially adapting interventions across wards.

HSUs are not just places where people go for basic medical care; they are also places where people can learn about disease prevention and how to care for themselves physically and mentally. HSU staff members are trained in basic medical assistance as well as how to manage stress levels through breathwork techniques or meditation exercises. They work with local community leaders who help them locate individuals who might benefit from these services
This is why 3N Health Support Units (HSU) will promote primary health care by attaching affordable health infrastructure to public spaces. Partnerships will ensure sustainability between higher educational institutions, governmental agencies in Departments of Health, Education, Economic Development, Agriculture and Forestry, Rural Development and Land Reform, as well as, communities, households, cooperatives, schools, and women's groups.
